Career Opportunities at China Labor Watch

Founded in 2000, China Labor Watch (CLW) is an independent not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Each year, about ten undergraduate and graduate students from U.S. universities become China Labor Watch interns. Some of these interns have gone on to continue their studies at Harvard, Columbia, Yale, NYU, Cornell, Oxford, and other universities as continuing students in law, political science, education, sociology, etc. Some of these interns have gone on to become professors at some of the world’s best universities after graduating with their PhDs. Some of these interns have gone on to work in the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Department of State, the Department of Commerce, and other U.S. government agencies as professionals in U.S.-China relations. About one-third of the Chinese students return to China after their internships and go on to work in universities, think tanks, NGOs, and law firms.
