Analysis
The decrease of visits to the English site maybe attributed to lack of website maintenance and updates due to human resource issue. For the past few months, CLW has experienced a high mobility of employees, thus some of the work had to be paused. Towards the employment issue, CLW has hired a new worker in order to continue the previous work.
The increase of visits to the Chinese site is because CLW have posted its reports on various Chinese discussion boards instead of on its own website in order to avoid Chinese government's internet restriction. This approach will allow Chinese audience to have easier access to CLW's reports.
Moreover, CLW has also taken steps to make improvements on the website, including posting an increased number of news articles and commentary on the front page and sub links. There has been an increased effort to expand our network by including international labor news on the website and increasing communication with other Chinese NGOs and labor groups.
